Located at the entrance of the Kurokawa Onsen town, our wooden Japanese-style Ryokan has been standing for 50 years. The open space features unique Japanese lighting, and from the windows, you can enjoy the soothing Tanohara River and a waterwheel gently turning in the Japanese garden. Spend a relaxing moment at Yumeryudan, filled with Japanese charm. With the motto "True Kindness" of the Rindo flower, we welcome each guest with attentive service from all our staff.
After seeing on TV that many stays were being canceled due to the earthquake, I decided on the spot, “Then let’s go and make some summer vacation memories!” and made a same-day Reservation. The Room had a calm, pleasant atmosphere. Since it was the Room at the very end of the hall, we were able to relax without worrying about others even with children. I know it may depend on availability, but I truly appreciate your thoughtful consideration.Some of the staff were from overseas, but they made a sincere effort to speak polite Japanese and were very pleasant. Everyone was gentle and attentive, and we received wonderful hospitality.We thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen—both the large public bath and the private family bath. It helped us forget everyday noise and feel refreshed.This ended up being a long message, but it was truly a rewarding trip that left us completely satisfied. It reminded me how wonderful a Ryokan can be. Next time, I’d like to add meals as well and enjoy an even more relaxing stay. Thank you very much.

We arrived late and were seated about 20 minutes after the 18:00 dinner start time, but we were welcomed with smiles and treated kindly. It was a little disappointing that there was no local craft beer, but we toasted with draft beer and began our meal. The first appetizer was beautifully presented, carefully prepared, and very delicious. After that, every dish—including the assorted sashimi platter, beef grilled on a ceramic plate, and braised pork—was satisfying. My brother also said the chilled sake was excellent. The large public bath and the open-air bath left our bodies warm afterward; they were very pleasant baths. The Room was clean and well maintained, but we noticed an odor in the toilet. Also, noise from the floor above at night was a bit loud and bothered us somewhat. Still, overall it was a very satisfying stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

Our Rooms are primarily designed with wooden architecture, offering a nostalgic atmosphere complemented by warm indirect lighting and a clean environment. Each Room is adorned with subtle seasonal flowers, showcasing our attention to detail. Yumeryudan offers 5 types of Rooms, totaling 23. Please select your preference when making a Reservation. Forget your daily fatigue and spend luxurious moments with your loved ones. *All Rooms are non-smoking. Please use one of the three designated smoking areas within the facility for smoking.
Enjoy a blissful moment surrounded by nature, basking in sunlight filtering through the trees during the day and gazing at the moon at night. We offer various types of baths, from open-air hot springs to foot baths. The indoor baths are fully equipped with shampoo and conditioner. Our baths feature 100% natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source. *Please note that towels are not provided in the bathing area, so kindly bring your own.
The Kurokawa Onsen area is located in the northern central region of Kyushu, near the border with Oita Prefecture, deep within the Aso area of Kumamoto Prefecture. The Yume Ryokan bus provides shuttle service to nearby areas. If you make a reservation in advance, we will provide bus transportation between the following locations and our inn. ・Kurokawa Onsen Bus Stop (to the nearest bus stop) 【Usage】Advance reservation required 【Fee】Free ※Shuttle service to locations other than nearby areas is not available.
Using natural Onsen, we are dedicated to providing an experience that allows you to enjoy the feeling of Onsen even through foot baths. Generously utilizing Aso limonite in the stone sauna, it warms your feet. Located next to the main entrance of Yumeryudan Honkan, please feel free to use it. 【Usage hours】7:00～18:00
