Introduction of the Accommodation

When you think of Kinosaki Onsen, one must-do experience is visiting the six public bathhouses on the famous.Slip down a narrow side street off the bathhouse-hopping route, and you’ll find Yuraku waiting quietly. Surrounded by nature, enjoy delicious meals and soothing baths—your well-deserved getaway for rest and renewal.

Kinosaki Onsen is said to have been discovered about 1,400 years ago, inspired by the sight of a stork healing an injured leg in its waters. The Onsen town is home to six public bathhouses, each with its own origin story and legends that reflect the area’s rich history. At Yuraku, you can choose from three private open-air baths and enjoy four indoor baths designed around the concept of “mountains purple, waters clear,” for a total of seven distinctive baths. Enjoy Kinosaki Onsen your way—relax in our private in-house baths or explore all six public bathhouses.

Our young proprietor has 20 years of experience as a seafood broker. He visits Tsuiyama and Shibayama fishing ports, the fish market, and the produce market, bidding directly at auction to purchase only ingredients that meet his exacting standards every day. In an age when ingredients from across Japan and around the world are easily available, we want to deliver flavors unique to this region and this season. With that in mind, we offer dishes made with a strong commitment to local production for local consumption. Please enjoy them along with the proven skills of our chef and our dedication to preparing everything by hand. At breakfast, you can savor freshly cooked rice prepared in a traditional iron pot right before your eyes, paired with premium local eggs for the ultimate tamago kake gohan (rice topped with raw egg). Start your morning by seeking nature’s finest bowl—breakfast with our ultimate tamago kake gohan.

A Japanese modern-style guest room designed by architect Hideo Doi, inspired by the nature of Kinosaki. Every detail reflects the designer’s careful attention.
