An open-air bath offering a panoramic view of Mount Tsukuba, the nightscape, and Mount Fuji.
A breathtaking panoramic view of the Kanto Plain from Mount Tsukuba. Enjoy a stunning night view of the university town, sparkling like jewels, from the open-air bath on the top floor, and be moved by the sight of Mount Fuji glowing in the sunset. Savor a colorful seasonal Japanese Kaiseki meal prepared with fresh ingredients. Choose between dining in your Room for a relaxed experience or enjoying lively performances at our show kitchen-style Japanese dining area. Conveniently located within walking distance to Tsukubasan Shrine and close to attractions such as Ibaraki Flower Park.
I was able to relax in a clean, comfortable, and pleasantly spacious Room that was easy to use. Because it was a bit foggy, we couldn’t see much of the Kanto Plain, but we still enjoyed the in-room open-air Onsen bath. We usually eat dinner early, and we weren’t kept waiting—one delicious dish after another was served at just the right pace, with plenty of variety, and we were completely satisfied. It was my first time in Tsukuba, but it’s close to Tokyo, and we were able to see beautiful flowers at the perfect time—azaleas and mountain wisteria in bloom, and nemophila at full peak. I would definitely like to stop by again when I visit Tsukuba. Thank you very much for your hospitality.
Yahoo!トラベルユー... 5/17/2026From parking guidance on arrival to check-in at the front desk and being shown to our Room, the service was pleasant throughout. It feels like a traditional Onsen Hotel. The Room was a good size and more than enough for two people. Since it was right after check-in started, the day-use bath guests had just left, so we had the baths all to ourselves. Going early seems best. For dinner, a table and chairs were set up in each Room in advance. In addition to the dishes already laid out, hot items such as tempura were thoughtfully brought out later. For a couple in our late 50s, dinner portions were a bit large. With a variety of ingredients used, it really added to the travel mood. Next time, we’d like to stay in a guest room with an open-air bath.
