Particularly, from the open-air bath, you can indulge in sunbathing and forest bathing during the day and a star-filled sky at night. The spacious special guest rooms allow you to view seasonal sceneries such as fresh greenery, autumn leaves, and snowy landscapes, refreshing both your mind and body. Additionally, we provide a special Japanese-style meal featuring seasonal flavors.
I stayed one night on 8/23 with breakfast included. The men’s bath has a spacious indoor bath, and the open-air bath is designed to feel very open, with the outside scenery visible up close. The sulfur scent enhances the Onsen atmosphere, and it’s such pleasant water that you’ll want to soak again and again. At around 1,500 m elevation, it stays very cool in summer and is comfortable to spend time here. I’d like to visit again in a different season. It seems that Shogi title matches have been held here many times as well, so Shogi fans might enjoy that too.
