Sunny Stone Hotel No. 2

I stayed for two nights. The front desk staff were cheerful and spoke clearly.The amenities are minimal, but they provide tea, a comb, and other basics.The Room was more spacious than I expected, and I had a comfortable stay. I was happy that the TV was large.Considering that breakfast is free, I have no complaints. There is only one side dish (kinpira burdock), but they also provide furikake seasoning.If they offered raw eggs instead of boiled eggs, I could have made rice with egg.There were two types of bread, which was nice.I also appreciated the apple juice and hope they keep offering it.It might be even better if they provided dried wakame seaweed next to the miso soup.Since it’s free, I’m satisfied as it is.The Hotel is fairly close to the station, and there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it’s very convenient. I would like to stay again.

Some Reviews said it was “fine if you’re just staying overnight,” and I was worried it might be old, small, and hot, but it felt like a perfectly ordinary Business Hotel—in a good way—and exceeded my expectations. The building may be older by today’s standards, but what stood out most was the wide hallways, which don’t feel dark or gloomy. The room (and bathroom) was also completely standard. The TV seems to be a Google TV, and it’s convenient that you can watch streaming services with the remote. Having a USB power port next to the bed was very helpful. The Wi‑Fi speed was more than sufficient. Breakfast isn’t a large buffet with many options, but it’s modest and satisfying—not just bread rolls and coffee like some older inns used to offer (though this is no longer the case). Affordable, not cramped, with a simple breakfast—more than enough for me. I was able to relax.
