Hotel with noise and hygiene issues, making it difficult to rest.

I stayed at the accommodation due to work early in the morning. When I checked in after 3:30 PM, there was a strong odor of aging in the room, making it impossible to sleep. I contacted the front desk but received no response for a long time. When I finally got through, they said, "We will change it immediately." After waiting in the lobby, I received a new key that didn’t work and had to wait for reissuance. Upon entering the new room, there was a musty smell, and the shower curtain in the bathroom was discolored pink with red mold present. Due to time constraints, I requested replacement by evening before heading out. Upon returning, it had been replaced with a clean white one; however, when using the shower later on, only cold water came out as the temperature control dial seemed faulty—this took some time to figure out. At around 11 PM when trying to sleep, loud music from an on-site club echoed throughout and continued past midnight. Contacting reception revealed that this noise would persist until approximately 3 AM; while they offered slight volume reduction upon request (which helped minimally), disturbances lasted until after 3 AM leaving me unable to get any rest. Additionally: - The desk outlet did not function despite claims of near-new facilities within premises. - Visible stains/damage were apparent across surfaces. - A long cushion atop bed linens carried odors resembling previous guests' body scent or hair products—raising concerns over hygiene standards given its placement atop otherwise clean sheets. Operational shortcomings seem severe enough where even basic services fail consistently here; accountability appears absent beyond superficial apologies delivered casually by seemingly inexperienced staff members without meaningful resolution efforts undertaken institutionally overall. Rooms prone toward excessive noise should transparently notify guests beforehand while ensuring accommodations sold meet acceptable conditions rather than substandard ones outrightly unsuitable altogether! This stay marked my most unpleasant experience ever encountered during travels thus far—I cannot recommend staying here if seeking proper rest/relaxation opportunities!
