Yabu City retains the historic streetscape of Yoka, where prosperous merchants once thrived and the town flourished as a riverside landing. Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Tajima Yabu is located next to the roadside station “Yoka Tajima Kura” in Yabu City. Blessed with abundant nature, the area offers many attractions, including Bekku’s terraced rice fields—around 130 paddies spreading out with Mt. Hyonosen, known as the “roof of Hyogo,” rising straight ahead. Easy access to Hachi Kita Highlands and the castle town of Izushi. At the roadside station “Yoka Tajima Kura,” you can enjoy local specialties such as Asakura sansho pepper with its refreshing citrus-like aroma, and Serpentinite Rice—produced in limited quantities and often called a “phantom rice.” At our Hotel, enjoy a relaxing stay as time gently flows by.

  • Convenient and clean Hotel

    On the way back from Kinosaki Onsen, I stayed overnight as I am not comfortable driving at night. The Hotel seems new and clean. It is convenient with a roadside station and a convenience store nearby. The room appears to have a foreign-style design, with hangers placed at a high position. It might be slightly inconvenient for shorter individuals. Overall, it was a comfortable Hotel to stay in.

    This hotel is relatively close to Takeda Castle. Since I stayed without breakfast or dinner, the nearby roadside station within walking distance was very convenient. The hotel interior is very clean, giving a casual and modern impression. Being a newer building, it feels fresh, stylish, and pleasant. I didn’t interact much with the staff, but they seemed friendly from what I recall. For me, this is an excellent accommodation; however, it may not be suitable for those who want to enjoy large public baths during their trip. As someone who regularly visits super sento (public bathhouses), I wasn’t looking for such facilities here. Considering the great value for money, I rate my satisfaction as 5 stars. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Looking forward to staying again!
