The photos online were not exaggerated; it was a lovely Facility. The reason for giving 4 points to the Facility is that sounds, possibly from the upper floor, were slightly noticeable.
Keico 11/23/2025It was a bit disappointing that meals were not provided, but the accommodation was new and clean, with a dedicated free space for guests. The unlimited access to the bath made the stay very comfortable. I would like to use it again if I have the chance.

Located in the nostalgic Shiomachi Shopping Street, yubune is a unique Property on Ikuchijima, Setoda, featuring a "sento" (public bath) with island scenery painted across its walls, a 2nd-floor "yuagari lounge" with a library and shop showcasing Setouchi culture, offering a place to relax and deepen your journey. To ensure a natural and comfortable stay even during a busy trip, the guest rooms are crafted with domestic cypress wood and tatami mats, creating a simple yet refined space. We welcome a variety of guests, including sento enthusiasts, cyclists, remote workers, families, and groups. Experience the unique moments that only Setoda, surrounded by the beauty of the islands, can offer.
Public bathhouse
At the front desk, beyond the noren made from indigo dye and pine tree plant dye, hangs a signboard from the old Horiuchi residence that reads "A New Day, A New Breeze." The tiled mural in the bathhouse is the work of artist Mai Miyake. Featuring the islands of Setouchi, its rich sea, and marine life as motifs, the bathhouse murals are both beautiful and innovative. The bathhouse "hinagi" depicts the daytime scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, while "tsukinagi" portrays its nighttime views. The bathhouse is open not only to guests of the Property but also to visitors. While being part of the Ryokan, it aims to be a Facility that local residents can actively use, fostering connections with travelers. Detox water, unique to Setoda and tailored to the season, is available in front of the sauna. Please enjoy it along with your visit.
A library where you can experience the culture and history nurtured by the Seto Inland Sea, which has flourished as the "Sea Road" since ancient times, along with a shop showcasing the unique attractions of this region. POP UP events inviting people, goods, and activities reminiscent of past maritime trade are also held regularly.

2. Pre-Stay Health Questionnaire
