The name "Moire" refers to the phenomenon where overlapping patterns create a new design. At our Hotel, we have reinterpreted this concept as "a place where different cultures overlap to create new ones," and we proudly celebrated our grand opening in June 2022. Located on the site of the former Yoshiwara red-light district, our Hotel carries on its historical legacy while recreating the architectural style of cafés that flourished in the early Showa era. moire HOTEL YOSHIWARA is a boutique hotel featuring only six suite rooms, blending the rich cultural heritage of the historic Yoshiwara district, once officially recognized by the Edo Shogunate, with modern sensibilities. The exterior replicates the café architectural style of the early Showa era, and a bar on the first floor evokes the social culture of that time. The bar on the first floor pays homage to the café culture of the early Showa era. While offering a modern and contemporary atmosphere, its semi-café menu and design evoke a sense of nostalgia. The space features art pieces and DJ equipment, creating an environment that is visually enjoyable as well. Not just a place to taste but also to see, feel, and create lasting memories.
