  • This Hotel made my first trip to Dogo Onsen even more enjoyable, meaningful, and relaxing. The Room and bath were clean, and the staff were kind and wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding—carefully prepared to bring out the best in the ingredients, and truly delicious. Thank you for taking such great care of me.

  • I stayed in Dogo Onsen (Dogo Hakuro) for three nights in Ehime to enjoy an Onsen-hopping trip. It’s a stylish Onsen Hotel with a great sense of cleanliness, and I had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast lived up to its reputation—everything, including the vegetables, was very fresh and delicious. Dogo is also famous as Japan’s oldest Onsen town, with free-flowing natural hot spring water that truly leaves your skin looking brighter and feeling smooth. (My skin was in terrible condition due to hay fever, so I especially noticed the benefits.) There are also footbaths and day-use baths around the Hotel, as well as Dogo Onsen Honkan, Asuka no Yu, and Tsubaki no Yu. It was fun visiting different baths while wearing a yukata. They also lend you a basket to carry towels when you go out, which was very helpful. I’m currently traveling solo with the goal of visiting The whole country, and Ehime (Dogo Onsen), my 43rd prefecture, became a wonderful memory as a town known for its strong hot spring benefits. Thank you very much.
