Join a brewery tour event at the long-established sake brewery “Hirano Brewing”!
On Saturday, September 19, we will host a special sake brewery tour event in collaboration with Hirano Brewing, a long-established brewery in Gujo, Gifu. This event is available exclusively to guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Gifu Gujo on the day.
Founded in 1873, Hirano Brewing has continued crafting sake using the renowned spring water of “Kokon Denju no Sato,” which flows in Yamato-cho, Gujo City. During the event, you will tour areas of the brewery normally closed to the public while learning about the artisans’ dedication to sake-making. You will also enjoy a tasting comparison of five types of sake—including Daiginjo and Nigori—while discovering each style’s characteristics and how Gujo’s climate and culture shape its sake.
