[New Guest Room] In collaboration with Oyama Shrine: the “Samurai King Double” is here.
Thank you very much for choosing our Hotel.
Tokyu Stay Kanazawa has newly opened a collaboration Room, the “Samurai King Double,” created in partnership with Oyama Shrine, one of Kanazawa’s most renowned shrines.
Inspired by the theme of “samurai culture of Kaga Hyakumangoku,” this special Room blends the fearless spirit of Lord Toshiie Maeda—celebrated as an undefeated master spearman—with an elegant design symbolizing his lawful wife, Omatsu-no-Kata.
[Room Highlights]
- A tapestry featuring a pine motif symbolizing Omatsu-no-Kata on the wall
- A foot throw inspired by the legend that Ganku (Kishikoma), a painter known for tiger paintings who served the Maeda clan in the late Edo period, painted “Pine and Tiger” at Kanazawa Castle’s Ninomaru
- Gold fabric accents that evoke the splendor of Kaga Hyakumangoku, recreating its atmosphere in a modern guest Room
- Cushions embroidered with the Maeda clan crest on calm, lustrous fabric
- A spacious king-size bed to help you unwind after sightseeing or business
Oyama Shrine is just a 2-minute walk from our Hotel—an ideal base for visiting the shrine and exploring the castle town.
Enjoy a truly special stay in this new guest Room that embodies Kanazawa’s history and elegance.
