Our Measures Against COVID-19 - Alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations We have placed sanitizer at the lobby and restaurant entrance to provide an environment that is easy for guests to use. - Regular disinfection We regularly disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, doors, elevator buttons, and restroom doors using hypochlorous acid solution as appropriate. - Staff wearing masks while serving guests All guest-service staff wear masks. - Confirming the health condition of staying guests At check-in, we ask guests to complete a health questionnaire and confirm their travel route prior to arrival at the Hotel. - Changes to breakfast service style To help ensure our guests’ health and safety, for the time being we have changed breakfast service at Restaurant Shiomachi Saryo from a buffet style to a Western set meal. - Health checks before work Employees take their temperature; anyone with a fever of 37.5°C or higher or who feels unwell will be asked to stay home. - Additional alcohol-based hand sanitizer in back-of-house areas In addition to regular handwashing and gargling, we have installed sanitizer so employees can disinfect their hands when entering offices and after using restrooms. - Refraining from non-essential travel and gatherings We prohibit non-essential business trips and overseas travel, and ask employees to refrain from attending events where large numbers of people gather as well as workplace meals or meetings.
