    The hospitality and interior design are wonderful, but...

    The service and interior design were great, but the provided pajamas had a strong damp smell and I couldn’t wear them (the odor even clung to my body). The pillow and sheets weren’t as bad, but they also had a damp smell. I was also a bit disappointed that the requests I made at the time of Reservation were not reflected. The rooms and common areas were very clean, and I was very satisfied with the bath facilities, so it felt like such a waste. I would like to stay again next time, but if I have to be exposed to that damp smell all night again... it makes me hesitate. I hope this will be improved.

    What do other guests think?

    I visited wondering whether the very high post-stay ratings on the site were really true. Because it is a little away from the city center, it is pleasantly quiet. I could hear a cuckoo calling in the cedar grove right in front. Although it’s less than before, I had some physical reaction when cedar pollen was in the air, which was unfortunate... Breakfast offers many vegetable-based dishes and tasted great. The late-night ramen was also better than what you find in shops downtown. I would be happy if you could raise the hot water temperature from the bath faucet by another 1–2°C. What’s disappointing is that, as others have pointed out, there is one person who can only hold conversations that don’t fit this Accommodation at all. Maybe it can’t be helped if they’ve only ever lived in a rural town. Perhaps they would understand after some self-training—working once in a big city to gain more experience. Small things can ruin everyone’s hard work. The tea after bathing is rich and delicious.

    After working in ano...

    After working in another prefecture, I checked in late at night and stayed here. The large public bath had a charming atmosphere, and the breakfast was high quality—I was very satisfied. Thank you for helping me with a forgotten item at checkout. I will stay here again.

    Considering the price, we were very satisfied with the service.

    I stayed for two nights on a Plan with breakfast included. Check-out was unattended. The Shuttle Service ran once an hour at set times, which was very helpful. They also kindly accommodated a change to the breakfast time. Since there are many international guests, there may be more issues, but I felt the staff handled foreign-language support smoothly. I would like to stay again when I visit Hida Takayama.

    The Onsen was also great.

    It was clean and very nice. They also provided extra towels, and I’d definitely like to stay again.

    Travel for Two

    First, I was surprised by the small size of the Room. It was on the first floor, but the window faced a parking lot, and beyond that, there were houses, so I couldn't open the curtains. The Onsen was nice.

    First Business Hotel Experience

    Dinner at the restaurant was refreshing and very enjoyable. Staying for two nights and trying different restaurants was a great choice. The open-air bath with a view of the river was excellent, and the Facility and amenities were well-equipped. I also enjoyed the late-night ramen. The staff were kind and helpful.
