    Thanks to 1899.

    The title may be a bit over the top, but this is my absolute favorite place—one that needs no introduction. Because of 1899, I can truly rest and then return to everyday life feeling ready to do my best again. This time, I enjoyed matcha every day and felt peacefully fulfilled. I’m also always excited that the breakfast selection has grown even more. It warmed my heart to know the front desk staff remembered me—I was truly happy. Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to the Autumn Rest Plan. I’ll be back again, and I appreciate your continued support.

    It was very relaxing.

    My favorite Hotel 1899—about a 5–6 minute walk from Onarimon Station. One request: recently, the pajamas have sometimes had an odor, so I get a little nervous each time. Please check them. This time, I chose the “Tea and Sleep Wellness Stay” Plan, and I was very satisfied. The good-night drink and the morning sweet red-bean soup were new to me, and I enjoyed them with a fresh sense of delight. The “Sheep-Free Pillow” truly lived up to its name. Also, the bath salts were amazing—I’d love for you to sell them. I’m not affiliated in any way, but please do try it (haha). It’s always calm here; everything is thoroughly cleaned and spotless—my special healing space. It’s a place I truly hope never changes. If you add more 1899 goods, I’ll end up buying them.

    A Relaxing Accommodation in Tokyo

    Located in the city center, this Hotel is a short walk from the station, but that makes it quiet and peaceful, with warm, heartfelt hospitality. Café service and Rooms designed for relaxation make it a soothing retreat for solo travelers. Breakfast is energizing, delicious, and comforting. A delightful Accommodation to enjoy on your own.

    We had a very pleasant stay :)

    A modern yet relaxing space, the hotel was exceptionally clean. I stayed for 3 nights, and it was perfect to stop by the second-floor area before or after going out to enjoy matcha tea. It helped set a calm tone during a busy trip—truly a moment of relaxation and an excellent example of Japanese hospitality. The staff responded attentively to requests during my stay and shared insights about the hotel's origins and the area's history. The young staff members were very knowledgeable, making everything feel well taken care of.

    Stylish Boutique Hotel for Adults

    From the moment I arrived, I was soothed by the fragrance throughout the Hotel. Although I missed the service due to a late check-in, I enjoyed tea in my Room, which was absolutely delicious. The Room wasn’t very spacious but functional and, above all, impeccably clean. The bathtub was large, and the amenities were well-stocked—overall very satisfying. I skipped breakfast as I wasn’t hungry after waking up but would have appreciated if it could also be used as a café in the morning. The only downside was the pillow. For such a stylish and thoughtfully designed Hotel, this is one area that could use improvement in the future. Additionally, it was hard to fall asleep due to outside car noise during late night and early morning hours; however, this might have been due to unusually high traffic at that time and hasn’t affected my overall evaluation.

    Very satisfied.

    This time, I visited for a girls' gathering with my daughter. I was delighted that my usually busy daughter invited me, so we stayed in a twin room. The room was spacious with a separate bath and toilet, and having two sinks made it easy to get ready in the morning. As always, it was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed plenty of tea, having a wonderful time. Thank you very much. I'm happy to be able to share the goodness of 1899 with my daughter. As a side note, with this stay, I have completed all types of rooms! I will visit again. Thank you for your continued support.

    I would like to use it again.

    The Room was very clean and spacious, and the amenities were plentiful and wonderful. Due to work commitments, I had to leave earlier than breakfast time, but when I consulted about it, they prepared a packed meal for me the next morning. I would like to use it again when I go to Tokyo.

    The room is small but clean.

    Hotel prices in Tokyo are high, so I stayed here as it was relatively affordable, but it was narrower than I expected. It was clean, and the breakfast was satisfactory. It's full of foreigners.
