Enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Tateyama Mountain Range and Toyama Bay, along with carefully designed saunas and baths. Experience the fusion of art and spa, and indulge in an extraordinary, luxurious space offered by Spa Barnage. The bathing Facility at Spa Barnage is divided into two areas: the mountain side [YAMA/YAMASIDE] and the sea side [UMI/UMISIDE]. [YAMA/YAMASIDE] offers a space to fully enjoy the Tateyama Mountain Range. You can appreciate the changing expressions of the mountains throughout the seasons. The sea side bathing area [UMI/UMISIDE]. With a location offering a sweeping view of Toyama Bay, on clear days, you can even see the Noto Peninsula in sharp detail. During sunset, you can also enjoy the sun setting into Toyama Bay. [Sauna] We offer two types of saunas: the "Scenic Sauna" to savor breathtaking views of the mountains and sea, and the "Meditation Sauna" for immersive relaxation. Each has different temperature settings, and you can also enjoy the automatic löyly from the ceiling. [Bath] A unique bath where you can enjoy an art bathing experience. A groundbreaking collaboration between contemporary art "Bathroom Artwork" by world-renowned artist Noritaka Tatehana and traditional "Sento" bathhouses. We propose a new way to enjoy art. Outdoor air baths approximately 40 meters above ground, and two types of cold baths with different temperature settings are also available. All baths use 100% spring water from the Tateyama North Alps, known as "drinkable water."
