1. “2 minutes on foot from Asahikawa Station” seems unrealistic; it’s probably about a 5-minute walk (depending on where you start).2. It was lively, with many guests who seemed to be Chinese. On the Room floor, there were leftovers placed outside some doors.3. There was coffee and newspapers on the first floor, and I could relax and read them on the sofa.4. The Onsen is also open to day-use visitors. I used it in the morning and evening; it was very comfortable.
Close to the station, and the Room and large public bath were clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be perfect if streaming services like Netflix could be watched on the TV.
