[Important Notice] Information on the Accommodation Tax
Thank you very much for choosing our Hotel.
Under a Miyagi Prefecture ordinance, an Accommodation Tax will be applied to stays from January 13, 2026.
For stays of JPY 6,000 or more per person per night (No Meals Included, before tax), an additional Accommodation Tax of JPY 300 will be charged.
*Even for prepaid Reservations, the Accommodation Tax must be paid on-site.
For your convenience, we accept cash as well as credit cards and various QR code payments.
Stays exempt from the Accommodation Tax
Stays that fall under any of the following categories are exempt:
- Stays related to educational activities within the curriculum (e.g., school trips) and club activities
- Stays related to activities at nursery schools and certified childcare centers
Required document
- Certificate of Accommodation Tax Exemption (must include the school principal’s name and official seal.)
Important notes
- A certificate prepared by the school principal or equivalent must be submitted to the Accommodation.
- If the certificate is not submitted to the Accommodation, the exemption cannot be applied.
