  Thank you very much.

  Due to the Asian Volleyball Championship, many Accommodations around Kokura were fully booked and it was difficult to secure a Reservation, but an opening suddenly became available and we were able to make a Reservation at this Hotel. We had reserved a twin Room, but you prepared a slightly larger Room for us, which was very helpful. The guest room was kept clean; it was a bit disappointing that the bathtub and sink area were somewhat small, but overall we were satisfied. The lobby staff were very friendly and responded with great care. We also appreciated their polite assistance when storing our luggage. One thing we noticed: there was a citrus air freshener scent in the first-floor lobby, and my companion, who is sensitive to smells, found it uncomfortable and wanted to move to the Room as quickly as possible. I am also sensitive to fragrances; even though I wore an activated charcoal mask, the sharp scent—like in a restroom—was bothersome. We would appreciate your consideration.

  Moderately sufficient

  This was my first time staying at APA Hotel. Unlike four-star or higher city hotels, the Twin Room was understandably small, but everything was compactly arranged and sufficient overall. Some hotels only provide one chair in a Twin Room, but I was relieved to find two chairs in the room. The amenities were complete, and nothing was lacking. The only disappointment was that my companion wanted to use a hair iron, but upon inquiry, we found out it wasn’t available. In terms of location and budget, it met expectations well enough, so I will consider APA Hotel as an option for future trips.

  Location

  The location is close to the JR Kokura Station Shinkansen Exit, making it easy to find and very convenient. The Room was upgraded to a slightly larger corner Room due to the Hotel's arrangement, which allowed for a comfortable stay. Additionally, I received a sample of nuts at check-in and enjoyed them. Thank you for your hospitality.
