At our Hotel, in consideration of the health and safety of our guests and employees as well as public hygiene, we have strengthened disinfection and sanitization measures throughout the building as outlined below.
These measures have been implemented since January in cooperation with public health centers and medical institutions, based on guidelines from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for COVID-19 prevention, and will be further enhanced as needed.
[Facility & Staff Initiatives]
1. Mask use and health management for employees
- Employees wear masks and face shields to prevent droplet transmission
- Thorough handwashing, gargling, and sanitizing
- Daily temperature checks and health reporting
(Employees with a fever are required to rest; after their fever subsides, they are asked to stay at home for two weeks.)
2. Wearing white gloves when handling guests’ luggage
3. Acrylic partitions installed at the front desk counter to prevent droplet transmission
4. Sanitizer stations placed throughout the building
- Sanitizer is available at various locations such as the front desk and restrooms; all visitors are requested to use it.
- In addition to standard alcohol-based sanitizer, we also use a sanitizer with strong antiviral properties.
5. Enhanced cleaning and sanitization of common areas
We have strengthened disinfection of frequently touched surfaces such as elevator buttons, shared restroom door handles, faucets, furniture, rental items, etc.
6. Enhanced disinfection and sanitization of Rooms
- Ozone sterilization is performed during cleaning to improve air hygiene.
- Enhanced disinfection of frequently touched areas such as door handles, remote controls, switches/faucets, Room keys, etc.
- Air purifiers installed in all Rooms throughout the Hotel.
- At Tokyo Shiodome / Tokyo Tamachi / Tokyo Kudanshita locations (Villa Fontaine), some Rooms are equipped with Panasonic’s space deodorizing sterilizer “Ziaino.”
7. Temporary suspension of breakfast service and changes to buffet-style service
[Requests to Guests]
1. Temperature screening at check-in
Using a non-contact thermometer or thermal camera system.
*The thermal camera installed at the entrance of Tokyo Shiodome can continuously detect elevated temperatures not only for staying guests during check-in but also for all visitors.*
2. Completion of a health questionnaire at check-in
3: Use of self-service check-in/payment machines (automated kiosks)
This helps reduce congestion through faster check-in/check-out procedures while minimizing close contact with staff members.
4: Cooperation with gargling/handwashing/sanitizing
Sanitizer stations are available throughout the building.
5: Health management during your stay
If you feel unwell please inform nearby staff.
