At our accommodation, we prioritize the health and safety of our guests and staff, as well as public hygiene. We have strengthened disinfection and sanitization measures throughout the facility as outlined below.
These measures are implemented based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's guidelines for COVID-19 prevention in collaboration with health centers and medical institutions since January. They are further enhanced according to the situation.
【Facility & Staff Measures】
1. Staff Mask Usage & Health Management
・Staff wear masks or face shields to prevent droplet transmission.
・Thorough handwashing, gargling, and sanitization practices are enforced.
・Daily temperature checks and health reporting (staff with fever are sent home to rest for two weeks after recovery).
2. Use of white gloves when handling guest luggage
3. Installation of acrylic boards at front desk counters for droplet prevention
4. Placement of disinfectant throughout the facility
・Disinfectants are available at various locations such as front desks and restrooms for guest use.
・In addition to standard alcohol-based disinfectants, highly effective antiviral solutions are also used.
5. Enhanced cleaning & disinfection in shared areas
Elevator buttons, restroom doorknobs, faucets, furniture items, rental items—frequently touched surfaces—are thoroughly sanitized.
6. Strengthened room disinfection measures
・Ozone sterilization is conducted during cleaning to enhance air hygiene.
・Frequently touched areas such as doorknobs, remote controls, switches/faucets/room keys receive extra attention during disinfection.
・Air purifiers installed in all rooms across all facilities.
・At Tokyo Shiodome/Tokyo Tamachi/Tokyo Kudanshita locations: select rooms feature Panasonic Ziaino air purification systems designed for space sterilization/deodorization.
7. Temporary suspension or modification of breakfast buffet services
【Requests to Guests】
1. Temperature checks upon check-in using non-contact thermometers or thermal cameras
*The thermal camera installed at Tokyo Shiodome entrance monitors not only staying guests but also detects fevers among all visitors continuously.*
2. Completion of a health questionnaire upon check-in
3. Use of self-check-in/payment machines
To reduce congestion during check-ins/check-outs while minimizing close contact with staff members.
