About a 5-minute walk from Kotoden Kawaramachi Station, this Hotel offers comfortable guest rooms, complimentary late-night noodles, and a natural Onsen.

Located in the city center, where business and entertainment districts are concentrated, just a 5-minute walk from the "Kencho-dori/Chuo Park" stop via airport limousine bus or a 5-minute walk from Kotoden "Kawaramachi" station. The top floor features open-air baths! Separate large public baths for men and women are available.

  • The rooms and facilities are small but provide a satisfying accommodation experience. The dedication of the staff is evident. This is my go-to accommodation in Takamatsu. There is a system to check the congestion in the building via TV, but there is a significant delay in reflecting the crowd status of the baths. The onsen is pleasant, but be prepared for some crowding.

  • The price is just under 10,000 yen per night. Five years ago, this would have seemed expensive for a business hotel in a rural area, but now it feels cheap. I had work near Takamatsu Station and found this hotel two stations away. I had heard their commercials on a well-known radio station, so I booked with high expectations. During my stay, I found the room's facilities to be adequate and clean. The bed was a good size and comfortable, but there was a gap between the bed and the wall, which might be dangerous for children who could fall through. If you drop something, you might leave without noticing. I was pleased to find mineral water and jelly in the refrigerator. Although there was no shower, there was a public bath. It wasn't very spacious but was a pleasant space. There was an open-air bath where you couldn't enjoy the view but could see the sky, which was satisfying. On the way back to the room, there was a freezer with ice cream monaka and ice candy, which was a nice touch. One of the hotel's selling points is the "midnight soba," a half-sized ramen served at night. Personally, I wanted more quantity and found it a bit too light, but I was surprised it was free. Can you get seconds? I didn't check, and no one else did. The breakfast I was looking forward to had a slightly limited variety, and it was disappointing that the only drinks were orange juice, milk, and water. The rice was a bit hard, possibly due to the recent rice shortage? However, the udon, made individually, was as expected from Kagawa—refined, clean in taste, and with a good texture. This alone was satisfying. The services I was satisfied with this time seem to be common with other hotels. I felt that I would like to stay with the Dormy Group again when staying in other areas.

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Dormy Inn.
Until now, for guests with a WECO Multiple Night Stay Plan (no-cleaning plan), we have provided fresh towels daily by hanging them on the guestroom doorknob.
However, to support environmental conservation and promote resource circulation, we will partially revise this service effective March 1, 2026.
