    The location is excellent.

    It’s close to Hirosaki Castle Park, making it convenient for sightseeing. There are also many places nearby to have dinner, so you can enjoy your stay. Security at the public bath was solid, and I felt comfortable using the washing machines as well. The apple juice and coffee in the lounge were a big help. I also enjoyed the ice bar after the bath—it was delicious. I fully enjoyed both the late-night noodles and breakfast, and on the way back I used the Shuttle Service bus to the station. If possible, it would be helpful to have a Shuttle Service bus on arrival as well.

    A Comfortable Stay

    I stay here when I’m on business in Aomori. The free ramen at night was perfect for a light bite. The ice cream after relaxing in the large public bath was especially enjoyable. The omelet at breakfast the next morning was also delicious. I’d like to stay here again.

    Room cleaning was not very good, but the view from the open-air bath and the breakfast were very good.

    Points for improvement ●Room The Room cleaning was not quite satisfactory. There was lint and dust buildup in the corners, which bothered me. I also found hair under the curtains. This was the first time at Dormy Inn that I noticed cleanliness issues. If cleaning is insufficient, it can ruin the entire experience, so please ensure thorough cleaning down to every corner. ●Facility Part of the post-bath relaxation area is designated as a smoking room. It usually doesn’t smell, but when people come and go, there is a noticeable cigarette odor. As a non-smoker, I found the smell unpleasant while trying to relax after bathing. Good points ◯Dining Breakfast was consistently delicious as expected from Dormy Inn, and I was very satisfied with the local dishes as well. ◯Baths The open-air bath is spacious with greenery, and you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Iwaki—the scenery is excellent. It ranks among the best even within Dormy Inn properties.

    This was my second stay.

    As always, Dormy Inn was reliably excellent. Even with a late check-in, I was able to relax. The food was delicious, and the baths were wonderful—I felt completely refreshed.

    The Onsen is amazing.

    Two nights for a trip. Anyway, the top-floor large Onsen bath with an open-air bath is wonderful. They also offer free ice cream and Yakult. It’s close to Hirosaki Castle, there are plenty of surface parking spaces, and parking an SUV is no problem. The Room is tight on space, but I guess it can’t be helped.

    We’re sorry to hear that.

    I stayed for one night. The Onsen was nice, but the Room and Facility were too old, and I didn’t feel it was worth the price. I like Hirosaki, but I was disappointed with the Hotel.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    I stayed here on my first trip to Aomori. I considered other hotels, but choosing this Hotel was absolutely the right decision. The Onsen left my skin feeling wonderfully smooth, and the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of dishes that let me enjoy local flavors. The Room was spotless and very well maintained. Every staff member was kind and pleasant, all the way to the parking attendants. Rates vary quite a bit by season, and when I made my Reservation I felt it was expensive for a regional business hotel (though it was Golden Week, so it couldn’t be helped). After my stay, that concern disappeared—I was so satisfied that the service and overall experience felt even better than at some upscale city hotels. This was my first time staying at Dormy Inn, and now I want to try other Dormy Inn locations as well.

    The Room feels like ...

    The Room feels like a typical business hotel, and the seasonal pricing makes it expensive. It seems difficult to see cherry blossoms in Tohoku during Golden Week anymore. The front desk staff were very kind (umbrella, directions, parking), and I was satisfied.

    Although it is a bit...

    Although it is a bit far from the station, the Shuttle Service makes up for it, and it’s interesting that Dormy Inn uses a system that is rare for the brand. Another highlight is the view of Mt. Iwaki from the open-air bath; while it can be cold in winter, the snowy scenery was absolutely breathtaking.

    You can relax in the Onsen and sauna, enjoy delicious meals, and take advantage of the Shuttle Service to the station. Highly satisfying experience. I would love to use it again.

    Best Value for Money

    Among the many Dormy Inns, the open-air bath here is exceptional. During winter, we enjoyed a snow-view bath. The Japanese-style room is perfect for families with children, offering a relaxing tatami space. The breakfast buffet featuring Aomori's local cuisine was also satisfying. For those planning to arrive by car, there is an on-site parking lot for guests. However, during winter, we recommend using the covered coin-operated parking across the intersection as it prevents snow from piling up on your car and costs about the same as the hotel's flat parking lot.

    On weekdays, the check-in area was bustling with many business groups, but the room was quiet and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing stay. The rooftop sign served as an easy landmark while walking or cycling around Hirosaki for the first time. The onsen could be enjoyed without worrying about time, providing a relaxing experience. However, the shamisen BGM in the open-air bath felt unnecessary to me.

    Conveniently located near the marathon starting point, I chose to stay here. The twin room initially seemed a bit small but was very functional. The design ensured no intrusive light, making it comfortable even when getting up at night. Breakfast was delicious! The onsen facility had a feature to check less crowded times and even included an open-air bath, which was a pleasant surprise! I also appreciated being able to leave my luggage in the morning. Thank you for all your hospitality!

    Excellent value for money.

    I stayed for one night during my visit to Hirosaki. Although it is far from Hirosaki Station, the shuttle service was very helpful. Since the facility is newly opened, everything was clean and well-maintained. The large public bath with an open-air bath was very relaxing. At night, ice cream was available, and in the morning, milk beverages were provided, which I appreciated. The signature "Yonaki Soba" (ramen) of Dormy Inn was delicious. I enjoyed a tasty breakfast as well. From the room, I could see Mt. Iwaki with a beautiful sunset view. All the staff greeted me warmly, making my stay very pleasant and comfortable.

    Best value for money!

    The title perfectly describes this accommodation. Located near Kajimachi, it's convenient for those who want to enjoy drinks and return to rest. While it’s a bit far from Hirosaki Station on foot, there is a bus available, and for those who enjoy walking, you can explore not only Kajimachi but also Dotemachi, the area around Hirosaki Station, and other scenic spots in Hirosaki City. The large public bath here is exceptional, offering stunning views of Mt. Iwaki while you bathe. The sauna maintains a solid 90°C temperature with a cold bath at around 15°C. There are about four chairs for outdoor relaxation where you can feel the breeze and admire Mt. Iwaki for the ultimate rejuvenation experience. There’s also a water station in the changing room to stay hydrated during your sauna session (though the water flow could be improved slightly). Post-bath treats like ice cream and lactic acid drinks are available—everything is perfect! I will definitely visit again!

    The bath was excellent.

    It is a bit far from the station, but the Shuttle Service was available, and the service was excellent. The bath was amazing. Breakfast was also delicious. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that having a shower cap would have been appreciated. Other than that, I was completely satisfied.

    Air purifier

    I accidentally reserved a non-smoking room. It was nice that they provided an air purifier! However, I had to carry it to the room myself on a cart. I thought it was quite tough for elderly guests.

    Close to the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival

    I stayed for the Hirosaki Sakura Festival. The location is excellent as it is within walking distance to Hirosaki Park. There were many guests and crowds, which was a bit tiring. I think having an early check-in option would make it even better.

    Highly satisfied.

    There is an open-air rooftop bath, and we enjoyed the welcome sweets, apple juice, and coffee service. There are also comics available, which made my son happy. It’s close to Hirosaki Castle, and I’d love to stay here again. We also used a coupon for hotel guests to get a complimentary dish at a nearby izakaya.

    Known for its exceptional dining experience!

    Stayed during the second week of April, a bit early for Hirosaki Castle's cherry blossoms. However, visiting Iwakiyama Shrine was satisfying. As for the accommodation, the breakfast is high-level for a business hotel. No cheap sausages but thick-cut bacon. Instead of pre-made omelets, freshly cooked ones are served on the spot—impressive just with that alone! Additionally, there are small side dishes—very nice! If I may add one suggestion: seasoning. In Tohoku, flavors tend to be slightly salty. If this could be adjusted (less salty), the meal would deserve 5 stars!

    First Stay in Hirosaki

    I stayed at Dormy Inn in Hirosaki City at the start of my hot spring healing trip in Aomori Prefecture. Due to the heavy snow, I arrived at the Hotel by city loop bus from Hirosaki Station. Dormy Inn is a reliable Hotel with the same level of service across the whole country, so I was satisfied with the breakfast, bath, and late-night soba this time as well. The shuttle bus to Hirosaki Station after checkout was also helpful. Since it was a heavy snow day, I wished I could have had a light dinner at the Hotel.

    I used it for busine...

    I used it for business at Hirosaki University. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and a convenience store is nearby, so the convenience was good. The Room had no bathtub and only a shower booth because there is a large public bath, but I used the large public bath, so there was no problem. At the bathhouse, there was free ice cream at night and free lactic acid drinks in the morning. You can check the congestion status of the large public bath from the Room, so I didn't feel any congestion at all, and the sauna was also good.

    It's recommended Stays every time... but...

    The Stays in Hirosaki is always here. I wonder how many years it's been, I stay here once or twice a year. But this time... I have no complaints about the Stays! It's clean, and the bath is nice. However, when it gets this crowded, and the number of people from certain countries increases... it inevitably gets a bit rough. The inbound issue is a problem that every Hotel probably faces, and I understand the desire to increase room occupancy rates. But if the occupancy rate goes up, you have to increase the staff, or else problems will arise. Especially for the Onsen, which should be the main selling point, even if it's in operation, there should be at least one person stationed there, because foreigners have different common sense and mentality, and they might be doing something in the corner... No, I have no complaints about the Room at all. It's clean, well-organized, and reassuring. It's just a vague concern about the future... I guess. I am always deeply grateful for the clean Room.
