Right in front of the Takamibaba tram stop. Conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from Kagoshima-Chuo Station and about a 10-minute walk from Tenmonkan. Beds are made by Simmons, known for their comfort, and Rooms feature bright ceiling lighting. Free LAN and Wi-Fi access in all rooms. In addition to your Room, we offer separate large public baths for men and women where you can stretch out. This is an artificial Onsen using Komeiseki mineral stone. Our breakfast buffet featuring a wide selection of local dishes is highly rated.
From the Room on the 13th floor, I could see Sakurajima. The Room was excellent, and the Onsen was great as well.I checked out before 6:00 due to my schedule, so it was a shame I didn’t have time to try the highly rated breakfast.The staff greeted me with smiles, making for a comfortable stay. It was a great-value Hotel.
taro-nyan 6/2/2026The delicious breakfast and the very attentive service are both excellent. It offers better value for money than you would expect for the price. While some parts of the Facility feel a bit dated, it is made up for by its cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere. It is a truly wonderful Hotel.

We offer a large communal bath exclusively for guests staying at the Accommodation. This is an artificial Onsen using Komeiseki, known for benefits such as relieving stiff shoulders and aiding recovery from fatigue. For added peace of mind, the entrance to the women’s bath is secured with an electronic lock operated by a PIN code. Please relax and unwind in this soothing space.

In addition to our popular Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet selections, we offer a wide variety of dishes such as Kagoshima’s local specialties “Keihan” (chicken rice soup) and “Satsuma-age” (fried fish cakes), as well as the local sweet “Shirokuma Pudding.” Enjoy our highly acclaimed breakfast to your heart’s content from the start of your day! Hotel Hokke Club has an official character named “Hokkun.” The name “Hokkun” was chosen with the hope that guests staying with us will feel relaxed and at ease. Each location across the whole country has a “Local Hokkun” inspired by the area, so please look for one when you stop by the front desk! ●Hotel Hokke Club Kagoshima: “Kurobuta Hokkun” At the back of the lobby, you can also find a handmade Hokkun made of felt.
