The historic and seaside city of Hakodate. This hotel is located in the heart of Hakodate's night view, one of the world's top three nightscapes, with a close view of Goryokaku. It is the only hotel in the Goryokaku area with a natural Onsen large bath, and the view from the top 14th floor is a highlight. Hotel Grantia Hakodate Goryokaku is conveniently located near Hakodate Station and the airport. The staff warmly welcomes you with smiles.

    The building is a Business Hotel, but it is close to Goryokaku and the bath was a natural Onsen. Some Business Hotels have large public baths, but this was my first time with a natural Onsen. I ended up soaking both at night and again in the morning.

    There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to enjoy walking around Goryokaku multiple times. The hot Onsen was very soothing for my tired body, but some other members found it too hot. Perhaps because of this, the men's bath seemed crowded, while the women's bath was almost like a private space.
