  Couple's Trip

  I chose this place because it has an Onsen. Although the bath is not large, I was able to relax and enjoy it. The breakfast had a limited selection, which was disappointing. The location is great as it is very close to Gifu-Hashima Station.

  Convenient for Shinkansen access

  The miso soup served at breakfast was hearty and very delicious.

  The large (medium) public bath is comfortable and relaxing.

  The rooms and building are well-maintained and clean. Nearby restaurants are about a 10-minute walk, but there were only a few options like ramen shops and chain izakayas, so I returned to the Hotel and dined at the restaurant inside. Breakfast was also served at the same restaurant. The menu included set meals and dishes that pair well with drinks, creating a comfortable environment for solo diners. The medium-sized bathhouse, accommodating about four people in the washing area, was clean and provided a pleasant experience.

  Conveniently located...

  Conveniently located near the station. The room offers a great view of the Shinkansen, making it enjoyable for train enthusiasts. Hotels in regional cities tend to be expensive overall, but Route Inn offers good value for money, so I have used it frequently when staying in such areas. I always request a non-smoking room, but I have never been able to secure one at Route Inn. Nowadays, many hotels primarily offer non-smoking rooms, so if there are other options available, I choose hotels with non-smoking rooms. I hope Route Inn will consider making non-smoking rooms the standard option. Additionally, the noise from the Nanoe air purifier was noticeable; if air purifiers are part of the basic facilities provided, better maintenance would make them even more appreciated.
