  • The staff created a wonderful atmosphere.

    The Hotel had a wonderful atmosphere at the front desk counter—the face of the property. Of course, the guest rooms were spotless, and the breakfast staff were cheerful. The view was great as well—everything was excellent. A Hotel really comes down to its people. I fully support eco-friendly Hotels. That said, personally, I would prefer amenities like shampoo to be provided in bottles. (For sightseeing, Zenkoji Temple and Togakushi are both lovely, but Obuse—reachable on the Nagano Electric Railway from Shiyakusho-mae Station near the Hotel—was beautiful throughout the town, and I enjoyed exploring by bicycle from the station.) Thank you very much.

  • A Zenkoji Temple Visit for Three Generations

    We stayed here for a trip to visit Zenkoji Temple with three generations: my mother in a wheelchair, my father, my spouse and I, and our daughter and son. The Room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable to spend time in. We had high expectations for breakfast, but the bread quickly became hard and was a bit difficult for my parents in their 80s to eat, which was slightly disappointing. Still, the Room, Facility, and bath were all very clean, and we appreciated having a separate toilet so we could bathe comfortably. Thank you very much. This is a Hotel I would recommend.

    Nagano Prefecture aims to develop as a world-class mountain and highland tourist destination by enhancing tourism resources, improving traveler facilities, and promoting tourism. To fund these initiatives, an Accommodation Tax will be introduced under Nagano Prefecture's ordinance starting June 2026.

    The details of the Accommodation Tax are as follows:

    For stays on or after June 1, 2026:
    Accommodation Fee (per person per night) of ¥6,000 or more: ¥200

    For stays on or after June 1, 2029:
    Accommodation Fee (per person per night) of ¥6,000 or more: ¥300

    *This tax applies to all guests paying for accommodation regardless of age.
    *The Accommodation Fee refers to the No Meals Included rate and does not include meal charges, parking fees, consumption tax, etc.

    ■ Payment Method
    The Accommodation Tax must be paid directly at the hotel during check-in. Guests who have already made prepayments will still need to pay this tax separately.
