Just a 3-minute walk from JR/Hanshin/Hankyu “Sannomiya Station” and a 1-minute walk from Subway “Sannomiya Station,” the property is located in the heart of Kobe. Kitano Ijinkan and Nankinmachi (Chinatown) are just one subway ride away. Access to the International Conference Center, International Exhibition Hall, and Kobe Airport is also convenient via the Port Island Line.
The website says it is a 5-minute walk from the “West Exit” of JR Sannomiya Station, but Sannomiya is a complex station with many lines, and it can be hard for first-time visitors to navigate. I was traveling via JR, and for JR users, it may be easier to exit from the Central Gate, go out to Ikuta Shinmichi, and head toward Motomachi (this is the route I used between the station and the Hotel afterward). The West Exit of JR Sannomiya Station is hard to find unless you go down from the platform, and getting to the Hotel through the maze under the tracks was difficult even with a map app. The Hotel staff were very kind and made my stay comfortable. The coffee service was much appreciated.
I stayed here on a business trip, and it was very convenient as it’s close to Sannomiya Station, which I used as my main base for getting around.
