A 3-minute walk from JR, Hanshin, and Hankyu “Sannomiya Station,” and a 1-minute walk from the subway “Sannomiya Station,” this property is located in the heart of Kobe. Kitano Ijinkan and Nankinmachi are just one direct subway ride away. Access to the International Conference Center, International Exhibition Hall, and Kobe Airport is also convenient via the Port Island Line.
The website says it is a 5-minute walk from the “West Exit” of JR Sannomiya Station, but Sannomiya has many lines and can be confusing for first-time visitors. I was traveling via JR, and I think it may be easier to exit from the JR Central Exit, go out to Ikuta Shinmichi, and head toward Motomachi (this is the route I used between the station and the Hotel afterward). The JR Sannomiya West Exit is hard to find unless you go down from the platform, and getting to the Hotel through the complex area under the tracks was difficult to follow even with a map app.The Hotel staff were very kind and made my stay comfortable. The coffee service was much appreciated.
I stayed here on a business trip, and it was very convenient as it’s close to Sannomiya Station, which I used as my base for getting around.
