• By car from Tokyo Take the Chuo Expressway via Futaba Junction, then the Chubu-Odan Expressway to Shirane Interchange. From there, it is approximately 5 minutes on local roads. • By JR limited express train + taxi (or local bus) From JR Shinjuku Station, take the Azusa or Kaiji limited express to Kofu Station (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). From the south exit, it is approximately 25 minutes by taxi. • By local bus From bus stop No. 1 at the JR Kofu Station bus terminal, take a Yamanashi Kotsu bus bound for Ashiyasu or Midai. Get off at Dodo bus stop and walk approximately 5 minutes (bus journey: approximately 30–40 minutes). • By highway bus From Busta Shinjuku (Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal), take the Minobu–Shirane highway bus to Shirane IC Nishi (approximately 2 hours 10 minutes). From the bus stop, it is approximately 5 minutes by taxi or 20 minutes on foot.
