A private, whole-villa rental limited to one party per day: “TRANQUIL Ambient Retreat” (1–6 adults, 2 bedrooms). Step into a garden crafted by a landscape artisan in the spirit of a tea garden—moss, stepping stones, a water basin, and stone lanterns guiding you as you leave everyday life behind. Soak in an open-air bath with free-flowing natural hot spring water, surrounded by bamboo and the sound of the river, feeling a gentle breeze brush your cheeks. From the living room window, the bamboo fence comes into view; at dusk it is illuminated, and together with the flames of the terrace fireplace, your senses begin to soften and melt away. For breakfast, we offer a beautifully arranged jubako meal prepared by a chef specializing in kaiseki cuisine, along with rice cooked in an Arita-yaki earthenware pot. For dinner, we can also coordinate Reservations for an on-site chef sushi or kaiseki course, or Reservations at a renowned French restaurant just minutes away by car. Bamboo, flame, light—the river’s sound and layered ripples of movement surround you until the boundary between you and nature fades. This is a retreat where you become one with serene surroundings and spend time gently unbinding your senses.

The bathroom is fully finished in midnight-colored tiles. Enjoy a relaxing soak while looking out at the illuminated bamboo grove right in front of you. The bathtub is made by German steel-enamel manufacturer Bette and measures approx. 1.8 m x 0.8 m, allowing you to stretch out comfortably. You can fill the tub using the fill button with automatic temperature control set to 42°C. (For safety: as the hot spring source is very hot at 62°C, water is added before filling.) The overhead and hand showers use tap water. Le Labo (NY fragrance brand) shampoo and other amenities are provided, featuring a hinoki cypress scent. For a Multiple Night Stay, from the third day onward, cleaning will be performed every two nights between 11:00 and 14:00 on the following day. Staff will enter the room for cleaning (bedroom entry and linen changes available upon request).
