The Facility name “REQUIES” means “rest” in Latin. Just as beautiful music needs rests, life also needs moments to pause. With that belief, this place was created. The gentle waveform in the logo is shaped after the musical symbol for a quarter rest. The arches placed throughout the building echo this waveform motif from the logo. A supple, organic space free from rigid, linear tension helps you forget everyday life and invites you into an extraordinary stay. Throughout the interior styling, subtle colors inspired by Kawazu-zakura—this area’s iconic cherry blossoms—are quietly woven in.
