Log & Sauna Jyouno-hama

An authentic log cabin Accommodation featuring a wood-fired sauna heated with firewood.

This is an authentic log cabin built from stacked logs, fully air-conditioned for a comfortable stay in any season. The scenic deck connected to each Room’s deck features a covered BBQ area that can be used even in the rain, as well as a fire pit area where you can gaze at the stars. Charcoal and firewood are provided—please feel free to use them. The sauna is also an authentic log-built structure. Please add firewood yourself when using it. It takes a little effort, but you can enjoy it whenever you like, at your preferred temperature. After the sauna, cool down in the cold plunge bath with continuously flowing groundwater, then relax on the scenic deck while watching the sky darken and the stars appear. A kitchen, stove, BBQ grill & fire pit stand, and an empty refrigerator are provided (as welcome drinks, we will stock water (2L and 500ml), tea, and beer; for guests under 20 years old we will provide juice—please help yourself). Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor jacuzzi are also available. With a kitchen, stove, and refrigerator on site, you’re welcome to bring your own ingredients and do simple cooking in the Room kitchen. Cookware includes pots (large/small), ladle, frying pan(s), spatula(s), cutting board(s), and knife/knives. Seasonings include rock salt and whole black pepper. Please bring anything else you may need.
