A distinguished traditional Japanese house, carefully restored and offered as a private rental Accommodation, nestled in a quiet fishing village on the Shimane Peninsula.

Umino Hanare is a private accommodation located in a quiet town along the Sea of Japan, within the Shimane Peninsula and Shinjiko Nakaumi Geopark. This property has been renovated to preserve as much of its original design as possible, once serving as a retreat for a professional chef. Inside the building, you'll find a spacious living and dining area with high ceilings that create an open atmosphere. The large kitchen is designed for multiple people to cook comfortably and is equipped with professional-grade facilities. Guests can enjoy cooking meals using fresh local seafood available nearby. Just outside the gate lies Konami Beach, featuring white sand and calm shallow waters—perfectly safe for families with children. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy marine activities such as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP).
