A classical hotel renovated from a former bank

Originally built in the early Showa period as a two-story wooden bank building during Japan's modernization, this former bank has been transformed into a one-room-per-day exclusive Hotel. Once thriving as a cornerstone of the town, it operated as the former Kyoto Mutual Bank. Preserving as much of its original charm as possible, the space is designed to evoke a modern yet classical atmosphere. It features Japanese designer furniture and custom lighting from the era of rapid economic growth, antique decorations from Germany and France, as well as local artists' ceramics and furnishings. For breakfast, we offer a set of English muffins, salad, and soup.
