Located along Route 134 in Inamuragasaki, "Shadow Pond Kamakura" offers a unique and serene stay. Upon opening the entrance door on the first floor, you will be greeted by "Pond-kun." The hall where Pond-kun is placed features an open ceiling, while the rest of the space is designed in a traditional Japanese style. One of the two 8-tatami Room Japanese-style rooms overlooks a dry landscape garden and the Sagami Bay, while the other Room features two alcoves, with a Nio statue placed in the main alcove. The sliding doors separating the two Rooms are adorned with images of Mount Fuji in red and a dragon. When the doors are stored away, the two Rooms combine into a spacious 16-tatami Room. The indoor bath is made of granite and can accommodate 4 to 5 people. There is also a sauna for about three people, equipped with a "löyly" feature. Both the indoor bath and sauna offer stunning views of Sagami Bay. Stepping outside from the indoor bath, you will find a rock open-air bath. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of Oshima Island, Enoshima Island, and Mount Fuji. At night, the illuminated dry landscape garden creates a truly atmospheric setting. On the second floor, there are three Western-style Rooms, and the chandelier view from the connecting corridor is particularly beautiful. The third floor features a 35-tatami living Room, where the bright white living space contrasts strikingly with a vivid red island kitchen, giving the impression of a floating island. From the window of the third-floor restroom, you can enjoy a view of Inamura Seaside Park, which looks like a painting hung on the wall. The terrace is equipped with a jacuzzi for five people, offering views of Inamura Seaside Park, Oshima Island, Enoshima Island, and Mount Fuji.
