Selected for the MICHELIN Guide Selection Hotel
“Ishigaki Hills®” has been featured in the Michelin Guide 2024 as a “Selected” Hotel.
This marks the fifth Michelin-listed Hotel in the Ishigaki area, and the first for a Vacation Rental–style Accommodation such as a villa or private home.
The Michelin Guide is an internationally respected guide that selects Hotels and restaurants worldwide based on independent evaluation criteria. This recognition reflects the high overall appraisal of Ishigaki Hills® for its stay experience, location, and hospitality, and our entire team is truly honored.

“Michelin Selected” is one category within the Michelin Guide’s hotel selection, referring to Accommodations recognized by Michelin for their quality.
Above this Selected category are star-rated Michelin Keys.
In Japan, as of July 2024—when Michelin’s new hotel rating system launched—108 properties received Michelin Keys and 135 Accommodations were chosen as Selected (243 listings in total). Ishigaki Hills® was added as an additional selection in this inaugural year.
