One group per day only. Enjoy a relaxing stay surrounded by vast natural beauty.
With the concept of “Making pioneering for everyone,” Takeshita Farm has created a new kind of Accommodation: “taku.”
A triangular roofline that follows the roadside trees.
A space shaped like a forest path.
An off-grid system that does not rely on fossil fuels.
In this building where nature and technology are in harmony, enjoy a one-of-a-kind stay.
FARM VILLA taku is an entire private villa built by dairy farmers themselves, located in Nakashibetsu, eastern Hokkaido—one of Japan’s most expansive dairy regions.
Just 20 minutes by car from Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport, it sits on a gentle hill along an old town road, offering an exceptional setting: a 200 m² villa surrounded by endless grasslands as far as the eye can see.
The villa consists of a management building and an accommodation building. The accommodation building has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. Each Room includes two semi-double beds, and depending on your group size, the sofa bed can be converted into two extra single beds (up to 8 guests).
To help you enjoy fresh local ingredients, the villa also features a spacious kitchen and living area for self-catering with ingredients you purchase yourself. In the evening, light the fireplace and relax with wine or local craft beer while savoring cheese from our farm’s own cheese workshop.
If you wish, optional add-ons are available by advance Reservation: breakfast with our signature potage soup, or pre-prepared meal kits for lunch or dinner. These meal kits use locally sourced ingredients and cheese made on our farm—offering flavors you won’t find in everyday home cooking.
Except during winter season, we also offer early-morning farm tours and pizza-making experiences. Please apply if interested.
*Please apply for optional meals and experiences at least two weeks before your stay.*
We accept only one group per day for Reservations. To ensure you can truly unwind during this rare opportunity to slow down, we recommend staying at least two nights.
At FARM VILLA taku, why not take in scenery woven by the seasons and nature—and reflect on the spirit of pioneering?
