Introduction of the Plan
No Meals Included Plan for a vacation house rental located on the shores of Lake Biwa.
For up to 2 guests, the Room is a Western-style room with twin beds. For 3 or more guests, futons will be provided in a Japanese-style Room. Usagiya is equipped with a full kitchen. You can enjoy delicious takeout from your journey or prepare your own meals with the provided Facility. On the first floor of the two-story building, there is a wooden deck overlooking Lake Biwa, a semi-open-air bath, a dining table, a kitchen, a sofa, and two twin beds. The tatami Room on the second floor includes a table, floor chairs, a hinoki bath, and futons in the bedroom. The layout is designed to provide a comfortable stay for families or friends.
Room Information
Japanese-Western Style Room (Western Room & Japanese Room)
On the first floor of the two-story building, we provide a wooden deck overlooking Lake Biwa, a semi-open-air bath, a dining table, a sofa, and two twin beds. For groups of three or more, futons will be prepared in the Japanese-style Room on the second floor. The tatami Room on the second floor is equipped with a table, floor chairs, a hinoki bath, and futons for sleeping. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, IH cooking heater, and tableware, allowing you to bring your own groceries and cook your own meals.

I had a relaxing stay.
This time, we stayed as a group of four, including my parents. The location was very quiet, with the Room right in front of Lake Biwa—an absolutely stunning view. The amenities were well-prepared, and the pajamas were fluffy and very comfortable to wear. However, the bathtub didn’t fill up much no matter how many times we tried, and for some reason, the water was lukewarm. We set it to 47 degrees and added hot water from the faucet. Still, the view from the bath was amazing, and we could relax while soaking in it. We look forward to staying here again.

The scenery was incr...
The scenery was incredibly beautiful! I was able to see the sunrise from the terrace. At night, I could see a sky full of stars! Even though I checked in late, the staff at the Stays were very kind, thank you. There was only a TV in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, so it would have been nice to have one on the first floor as well. This time, my stay was very short, so I would like to visit again and take my time!

Depending on your arrival time, the check-in location may vary, and we will accommodate you at either "Usagiya" or "Fukudaya." Fukudaya and Usagiya are located 2-3 minutes apart on foot, both situated along the lakeside road. If your expected arrival time changes, please call us at 0740-22-0029. - There are no resident staff, so if you have any issues, please contact us at 0740-22-0029. - The entire facility, including the wood deck area, is non-smoking. We appreciate your understanding. - Meals are not provided at Usagiya.
