    Starting July 22, 2026, the “Seaside Illumination” connecting the gardens of Gran Ocean Luxe Umikumanon and Accommodation Hana Irodori no Yado Kayu has begun.

    Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the magical “Path of Light,” beautifully lit by a large illumination monument and around 50 solar lights, while listening to the sound of the waves. Complimentary lantern rentals are also available for staying guests.

    In addition, a limited-time illumination celebration event will be held through August 31!
    Find a hidden “glowing cube” in the night garden to receive a complimentary “glowing drink” at the bar. Also, post photos of the illumination or your drink on Instagram with the designated hashtag “TaijiTownIllumi,” and your bar drink will be half price.

    Please enjoy this enchanting summer-only evening experience.

    Dogs of medium and large breeds that previously could not stay due to the weight limit are now welcome.

  • Garden Pool & Dog Pool Open from Monday, June 8

    With June expected to be hotter than usual and recent years bringing extreme summer heat, we have decided to open the pool one month earlier than normal so that guests can enjoy a more comfortable trip to Kumano.
    Overnight guests may use the garden pool free of charge (pool-only use is available for a fee).
    Before or after sightseeing at the Kumano Kodo and Nachi Falls, enjoy a refreshing moment in our pool surrounded by nature.
