■About the Sauna

This is a Finnish-style sauna where you can enjoy a gentle room temperature of around 70°C plus steam from löyly, allowing you to sweat slowly and comfortably.
Even if you don’t like very hot saunas or are new to sauna bathing, you can enjoy it at an easy, unhurried pace.

1. Room Temperature / Settings
The sauna is typically set to around 70°C. It is not a high-temperature sauna (100°C+) like a wood-fired sauna.
Maximum setting: The stove’s maximum setting is 95°C. Depending on outdoor temperature, season, weather, and other conditions, the room may not reach the set temperature.

2. Preparation Before Use
It may take over 1 hour for the sauna room and stones to heat up sufficiently.
Heating speed and maximum temperature vary depending on outdoor temperature, season, and weather, so please turn on the power early with plenty of time before use.

3. How to Enjoy Löyly
Pour small amounts of water slowly onto the sauna stones.
If you pour a large amount at once or repeat löyly frequently in a short time, the stones may cool down and the room temperature may drop.

4. Safety Device
This stove is equipped with a temperature limiter and will automatically shut off when the room reaches 125°C.
If the safety device activates, please follow the instructions in the manual provided on-site.

Please use the Chubu-Jukan Expressway “Katsuhara IC.” (Approx. 8 minutes)

From Gifu
Katsuhara IC is a half interchange for traffic toward Fukui only, so you cannot exit there when coming from Gifu. (Approx. 18 minutes)

Please either exit once at “Arashima IC,” make a U-turn, and then use Katsuhara IC, or come via National Route 158 (toward Izumi) from Arashima IC.
