If you are coming by car, there are several routes. If you are not confident driving, feel uneasy, or if there is heavy snowfall, we recommend either the route via Prefectural Route 2 from Sabae IC through the Shin-Shimizudani Tunnel, or the route via National Route 158 from Fukui IC to Ikeda Town, as these roads are wider and easier to drive.
