    Very disappointing, especially the sauna, which was terrible.

    Overall, it doesn’t feel stylish like the photos; it feels like an old traditional house that has only been superficially renovated. The place shows its age throughout, and there are a lot of insects. In a bad way, it felt like visiting my grandparents’ house in the countryside. I also felt it was dishonest not to inform guests in advance about missing or faulty Facilities (if I had known beforehand, I would not have chosen this Accommodation). I made the Reservation because friends were finally able to get together and travel again, hoping everyone would enjoy it, so I’m sorry that it ended up being a disappointing trip for them. 1. It is an unmanned Facility and it is difficult to reach the person in charge. The email with usage instructions that was supposed to be sent the day before or on the day of stay never arrived (this may be due to my email settings), and I also could not get through by phone for quite some time, so it took a significant amount of time after arrival to enter. Overall, the staff member gave an insincere impression. 2. The sauna in the woods is heavily promoted in the photos and description, and it even says it reaches 90°C, but it only went up to around 50°C—enough to sweat a little, but overall lukewarm. It was an unpleasant experience. I even checked the manufacturer’s manual and adjusted settings myself, but the temperature would not rise. It seems like the stove (or sensor) is broken and should be fixed urgently. Others mentioned this in their Review as well, so that part was my lack of research. 3. There is a wood-burning stove; we tried using it, but the Room became covered in soot. This also seems broken. Although there is supposed to be ventilation via a ceiling fan, that appears broken too and does not run at all. It gave me the impression that maintenance of Facilities is not being done properly. 4. Check-out is at 10:00, but grass cutting starts early in the morning and is very loud. Also, there is a coffee grinder and filters but no beans provided—there are many more issues like this, so I will stop here. I hope these points will be improved; however, I do not plan to return.

    We stayed with a gro...

    We stayed with a group of eight. The Room was clean, and we could use the fireplace and have a campfire—an Accommodation we were very satisfied with! Responses to our questions were also quick. If I had to say one thing, it would have been nice if there had been a dishwasher. Next time, we’d like to visit in a warmer season.

    We had a great time.

    Three families (8 people, including two elderly guests) stayed with one infant. Our baby was only three months old, but since it was a whole-house rental, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay without worrying about others. The kitchen was spacious and absolutely wonderful. We also used the sauna without any issues. Before we arrived, we were a bit worried about what amenities would be provided and how much, but overall we had no problems during our stay. We brought food such as meat with us in advance, but it was great that we could also pick up a few things at Roadside Station Furari Tomiyama. It was fun spending New Year’s with the family. We’d like to visit again in a warmer season as well. Thank you very much.

    A must-visit!

    The villa was surrounded by beautiful furniture and large windows, making it a wonderful stay. There was also a private sauna, and the night sky full of stars was breathtaking, allowing us to have an amazing time. Having a projector to watch movies on a big screen with everyone became a great memory that made us very happy. However, there were some concerns. The Room had a slightly unpleasant smell like camping, and the cooking utensils and plates were dirty. Additionally, we wanted to enjoy a bonfire but gave up because there was no fabric deodorizer available—it would have been nice to have one provided.

    The Facility was ver...

    The Facility was very clean and stylish. The sauna was also excellent. If I had to point out something, I was a bit confused about the check-in process; a more detailed explanation in advance would be helpful since it is contactless. However, the quick response via chat provided reassurance. Overall, it was fantastic.

    Overall, satisfied (?)

    1. The reserved plan stated: [ ■Meals■ ・No Meals Included You can enjoy a barbecue using the gas-fired BBQ grill "Weber." ] However, I was told that using the BBQ grill requires an additional fee of 5,000 yen, which was not mentioned initially. If it's a paid service, I would have appreciated it being clearly stated from the beginning. 2. I was looking forward to enjoying the sauna, but it didn't work at all. After several hours of communication via support chat and phone with verbal instructions and photos exchanged, a staff member finally came on-site to resolve the issue and make it usable. For everyone's reference: apparently, you need to press the red button on the back very firmly with something like chopsticks until it goes all the way in. Although I pressed this red button multiple times (as instructed), just pressing until you hear a "click" wasn't enough—you needed courage to press so hard that you'd worry about breaking it ("gak!" level). In the end, I could only use the sauna in the morning. 3. I forgot something at the accommodation but received immediate contact about it and managed to retrieve my item before leaving Chiba. This was extremely helpful. Overall Review: Although my enjoyment of what I looked forward to most—the sauna—was halved due to these issues, both phone and chat support were incredibly polite and left me with a very positive impression. The facility itself is excellent! Now that I've learned how everything works here, I'm confident I'll be able to fully enjoy my stay next time without any problems! I'd definitely like to stay again!

    A wonderful accommodation where you can experience the extraordinary.

    It was an accommodation that all six of us enjoyed and felt we wanted to visit again! The atmosphere of the accommodation was stylish, and the kitchen utensils and glasses were well-equipped, making our stay very comfortable! The sauna temperature was high, which made it very satisfying. We will definitely use it again!

    Sauna Experience in Nature

    The entrance can be a bit hard to find, and the location of the key is slightly unclear. However, there are no major inconveniences beyond that. On sunny days, the view is stunning, and enjoying a sauna experience in front of the campfire was truly exceptional. Additionally, a coffee set is provided, so don't forget to bring your own coffee beans for an even more enjoyable stay.

    The facility is good, but the service is poor.

    I stayed on a weekday. The location and facility were excellent, allowing me to relax. However, I would like the service to be improved. I did not receive the check-in instructions and had to call several times, but they only arrived on the morning of my stay. The email I received that morning mentioned that the Wi-Fi was out of order and unavailable. Since the accommodation was in an area with no mobile signal, I couldn't do any work as planned. Such important information should be communicated before making a reservation or at least by the day before arrival.
