Panoramic Mt. Fuji Views from All Rooms – VISION GLAMPING Resort & Spa YAMANAKAKO

Yamanashi Prefecture/Minamitsuru District
Vacation rental

Enjoy a relaxing stay in a private glamping retreat on the shores of Lake Yamanaka.

A fully private glamping space where you can spend your stay from check-in to check-out without meeting anyone. Enjoy views of Mt. Fuji from the dome tent, and relax in the outdoor living area with a campfire and stargazing, while the dome tent and dining area offer a comfortable, air-conditioned space. Savor the best of camping with an easy BBQ dinner and hot sandwiches for breakfast—no hassle required. Indoors, in addition to the dome tent, there is also a bath, dining area, and toilet on-site. Once you check in and enter your Room, everything you need is designed to be completed within the indoor space. The open-air bath, private sauna, and cold plunge are all exclusively reserved for your use. Find your own favorite spot and enjoy your time freely.

  • Our family of three (two adults and one older elementary school child) stayed here. The Facility was exceptionally well maintained throughout—spotlessly clean and beautiful everywhere. It was a wonderful place I can confidently recommend to others! Here are the highlights that impressed us, along with a couple of small points we noticed.◯ HighlightsBeautifully balanced meals: The ingredients prepared in the refrigerator were the perfect amount—not too much, not too little. The colors and presentation were lovely, everything felt very clean, and we were excited even before eating. The selection of complimentary drinks included in the Accommodation Fee was also excellent!User-friendly kitchen: The dining kitchen was spacious and easy to move around in, and the grill was simple to use, making cooking fun.A fully equipped authentic spa: Not only a bath, but also a sauna and cold plunge pool—an incredibly relaxing experience.◯ With hopes for future improvements (why we rated 4 stars)The boundary between indoors and outdoors on the way to the open-air bath was very slippery, so we placed towels down ourselves as a precaution. Guests with small children or elderly family members may want to be especially careful.Moving between the Room, toilet, bath, and dining area requires outdoor footwear throughout, but we found the provided shoes a bit difficult to wear. More slip-on options would make it even more comfortable. That said, our overall satisfaction was extremely high—so much so that these minor points hardly mattered—and it became a great memory for us. We would love to stay again!

  • We stayed in late April as a family of four (a couple with our son and daughter).[What we liked]1) A completely private space The standalone unit is fully equipped with a dome tent that gives you a camping feel, an open-air bath, a private sauna, a cold plunge, an all-weather dining area with heating and air conditioning, a private toilet, and even a fire pit area. At many other places, private open-air baths require reservations, but since the bath is in your own unit, our whole family could use it whenever we wanted. Being able to enjoy the open-air bath together as a family of four for the first time was a wonderful memory. We used the open-air bath/sauna/cold plunge three times: once after check-in, again after dinner and the campfire, and a third time the next morning after waking up. They were so relaxing that we spent too much time bathing; since dinner also requires cooking time (not just eating), our meal ended up feeling quite rushed.2) Meals Pre-prepped ingredients were stocked in the refrigerator—everything was basically ready to grill. The cooking instructions were very detailed, so even though it’s self-catering, it was easy to prepare. You can also bring your own food items, so we brought seafood for BBQ. There were also complimentary drinks and desserts available—honestly well stocked enough that you could come empty-handed.3) Great selection of free rentals (warm clothing, etc.) We visited in late April. The nights were chilly, so having warm clothing available to borrow for free—which also helps protect against sparks from the campfire—was very helpful.4) Service From check-in/check-out to requests for optional items and even an unexpected request to help start the campfire firewood, the staff responded with smiles and made our stay very comfortable.[What we didn’t like]1) The private toilet in the room is small It’s great that each room has its own private toilet (Facility), but people with larger builds may find it cramped. We wished it were a bit bigger.[Overall] Two weeks before our trip the forecast called for rain, but just before arrival it changed to cloudy and it didn’t rain at all. We enjoyed both the campfire and the open-air bath; however, it was disappointing that we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji on either day. Since many guests likely come here specifically for Mt. Fuji views، we would be happy if there were an additional repeat-guest discount for those who couldn’t see Mt. Fuji during their stay. Our daughter doesn’t like insects so full-on camping isn’t really possible for us—but glamping isn’t as affected by bad weather (Facility), everything is solidly built and clean، so she enjoyed herself too۔ We’d love to stay again۔
