The historic city of Hida Takayama, with its picturesque streets that convey the essence of history. Our residence, the Kusakabe family, is an old family that has been rooted in this area since the Edo period. To warmly welcome all those who have traveled across the mountains to visit the land of Hida as "honored guests of the Kusakabe family," and to allow you to experience the profound charm that cannot be fully expressed in words, we have renovated a traditional townhouse adjacent to the Kusakabe Folk Museum, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property, into a luxury villa accommodating only one group per day. We have prepared a Plan that includes the exclusive use of the Kusakabe Folk Museum as a private lounge after its closing hours, as well as tours that allow you to delve deeper into the culture, history, and nature of Hida Takayama.
