Stay at a decentralized Hotel with six exclusive rooms in a 100-year-old traditional house.

Located in the southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, between the Chikugo River and the Mino Mountain Range, lies Ukiha City. Among the abundant water sources and rich natural surroundings of Ukiha City, Minamo is situated in an area lined with traditional white-walled storehouses. Chikugo Yoshii, which flourished as a key transportation hub during the Edo period, still retains buildings reminiscent of that era. Minamo is a 6-room limited Hotel that breathes new life into these precious historical buildings. Each accommodation building offers a space where you can feel the weight of history, such as the former residence of a wealthy landowner who made a living from rapeseed oil and wax production during the Edo period, a former residence built in the Meiji era by a family running a clinic, and a warehouse designated as a cultural property of Ukiha City, originally built as an official's residence. With the concept of "immersing in the life of Ukiha supported by water," each of the six guest rooms is designed with a unique theme. Additionally, each room is equipped with products deeply connected to water, such as spring water, sake, native teas, and noodles, all sourced from Ukiha. Not only can you enjoy your stay within the Property itself, but you can also experience the entire town as a Hotel. By enjoying dinner or shopping at local stores, you can spend your time as if you were a resident of the town, which is the true charm of Minamo.

Around Minamo, there are various unique stores, both new and old, utilizing vacant houses and traditional Japanese homes, all within walking distance from each guest room. Ukiha City is known as the "Fruit Kingdom" due to its year-round fruit harvests. Within the town, you can find shops offering sweets and bread made with seasonal fruits. Additionally, nearby tourist farms offer fruit-picking experiences. For dinner, we offer a collaborative Plan with local restaurants, but we can also recommend other dining options in the area. Please feel free to inquire with the staff at our Hotel.
