Its distinctive equilateral-triangle design offers a relaxed space where adults and children alike can enjoy time together freely and comfortably. This award-winning building received an Excellence Award in the long-established “Architectural Works Award” from the Nagano Association of Architectural Firms. * A prestigious award evaluated on five criteria, including excellence in design, structure, and functionality, as well as consideration for the global environment (designed by Kurahashi Architectural Planning Office).
Unfortunately, due to the rain we couldn’t have a BBQ, but we still had a wonderful time. The villa alone was very comfortable, and we made many great memories. We really appreciated that apple juice, wine, rice, miso soup, and more were provided. Everything was delicious. The Onsen was also excellent; although it rained a bit, everyone went in twice—once at night and once in the morning. We thought we wouldn’t be able to roast marshmallows because of the rain, but the owner showed us how to do it using a siphon coffee maker instead! Next time, we’d love to stay again when the weather is sunny.

We sincerely appreciate your thoughtful attention to detail.The Onsen is fed directly from the source, so it may feel hot at first, but you can quickly adjust it by adding water and enjoy an exceptional soak.

Notice from the Accommodation
[Notice: Onsen Supply Resumed]
Due to damage to the onsen supply facilities caused by the heavy rain on August 8, the onsen supply to our Accommodation had been suspended. However, as restoration work progressed, we have received official notice from Hotaka Onsen Supply Co., Ltd. that the onsen is now available for use.
Accordingly, we have resumed use of the onsen at our Accommodation.
In this heavy rain event, Kurokawasawa—a tributary of the Nakabusa River—overflowed, washing away Kurokawa Bridge and sweeping away sections of the onsen piping, resulting in significant damage. While it was initially expected that restoration would take considerable time, thanks to the dedicated efforts of all those involved, we were able to resume the onsen supply sooner than anticipated.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again to Hotaka Onsen Supply Co., Ltd., as well as everyone involved in the restoration work who worked tirelessly under difficult conditions to achieve a swift recovery.
We also sincerely apologize for the concern and inconvenience caused to guests who stayed with us during the suspension period and to everyone with existing Reservations. We are deeply grateful for your kind words and understanding.
The onsen is now available as usual.

In addition, each building has its own bathroom, so there will be no opportunities for contact with other guests.

- For ventilation, ceiling fans and exhaust fans inside each building are kept running at all times.
- We disinfect the entrance door, including the keypad buttons.
- We disinfect frequently touched surfaces listed below:
Remote controls, switches, lamps, tables, chairs, refrigerator handles/doors, toilets, faucets, handrails, doorknobs/handles (including interior doors), hair dryers, bathroom fixtures and amenities/items in the bathroom area.
*For small remote controls that are difficult to disinfect around the buttons/switches thoroughly: we place a cover on them and disinfect them.*
- After washing tableware (including cups in the washroom) and cooking utensils/tools: we disinfect them.
