Located between the World Heritage Site Hiraizumi and the fishing port town of Kesennuma, this area was once a small village that developed alongside the Kitakami River. Unlike typical tourist destinations, the surroundings are rich in nature, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
