The Expedition Hotel - A Luxury Hotel Where "Experience" Takes Center Stage

Zenagi, established in 2019, is Japan's first "experience-based luxury hotel." While overseas, many "Expedition Hotels" focus on exploring the great outdoors, such as trekking in the European Alps, observing wildlife on African safaris, or cruising along the Amazon River in South America. These unique destinations are popular for offering once-in-a-lifetime experiences. At Zenagi, we embrace the concept of "exploring rural Japan," offering exclusive guided nature experiences alongside cultural activities like traditional Japanese crafts and private chef-prepared forest dining. These luxurious experiences engage all five senses. (※Accommodation Fee includes one experience and two meals.) We invite you to create unforgettable memories with your family or loved ones at Zenagi.

We use luxurious ingredients such as wild mushrooms, mountain vegetables, and herbs from the forest, game meats like deer and bear, aromatic oils and distilled water from famous woods like Kiso cypress, organic vegetables grown by local farmers, and seafood from Ise Bay nurtured in the nutrient-rich soil of Kiso's forests.

Additionally, we use the renowned local Kiso Five Woods as firewood for cooking, infusing forest ingredients with their noble aroma. This creates a unique "Forest Feast" that can only be experienced here.
