We recommend arriving by private car or rental car. Lake Yamanaka is approximately 13 km in circumference, and having a car makes it convenient to visit nearby attractions. Public transportation available around Lake Yamanaka includes buses and taxis only. Our cottage is located 1.7 km from the nearest bus stop (Yamanakako Hirano), so we suggest considering the use of a car. From December to April, we recommend using snow tires. If snowfall is expected based on weather forecasts, please also consider using public transportation. ◆ If Using Public Transportation ◆ 【From Tokyo Area】 - From Busta Shinjuku: Take an express bus to Fujisan Station → Rent a car to reach our cottage - From Busta Shinjuku: Take an express bus to Yamanakako Asahigaoka → 10 minutes by taxi to our cottage - From Busta Shinjuku: Take an express bus to Yamanakako Hirano → 5 minutes by taxi or a 20-minute walk to our cottage - From JR Shinjuku Station: Take the Limited Express "Fuji Excursion" train directly to Fujisan Station If no direct train is available, transfer at JR Otsuki Station for the Fujikyu Railway line bound for Fujisan Station → From Fujisan Station: Rent a car or take a Fuji-Q Bus bound for Yamanakako Hirano → Then take a taxi (5 minutes) or walk (20 minutes) from there 【From Shizuoka Area】 - From JR Mishima Station: Take a Fuji-Q Bus bound for Mt. Fuji/Yamanakako → 10 minutes by taxi from there to our cottage - From JR Gotemba Station: Take a Fuji-Q Bus bound for either Yamanakako Hirano or Yamanakako Asahigaoka → Taxi ride of about 5–10 minutes from there Please note that while there is a taxi stand at Yamanakako Asahigaoka, there isn’t one at Yamanakako Hirano. In such cases, you may need to arrange for pick-up service.

The inner garage of Cottage Corvette cannot be used as it permanently houses a Corvette C2 Stingray.
