The hotel produced by DOG DEPT, which provides a living space with dogs, opened in the summer of 2017. Located on the southern side of Karuizawa, it is a 1,300-tsubo complex facility featuring a forest resort-style DOG DEPT SHOP, an open terrace cafe & restaurant, and a dog run where dogs can freely play, allowing you to spend elegant time with your dog.

    We had a wonderful time with our dog.The meals were delicious.The service was excellent.We were able to spend lots of quality time with our dog.We’d love to come again.

  • Relax and unwind!

    This was our first stay. Our Room was on the second floor, so we had to use the stairs, which was a bit difficult for our small dog—this was the only downside. The Room was clean, and our dog happily walked around. The bathroom was also kept very clean, so we were satisfied. We ordered breakfast only. It was more filling than expected and very tasty. A dog cart was prepared at the table, which was very helpful.
